Delivery, Installation, Warranty and Maintenance

  1. Delivery Fee: We charge a delivery fee of $10 per mile, calculated from the site of build to your designated delivery location. This fee covers transportation costs and ensures a secure and timely delivery.

  2. Responsibility and Equipment: As the seller, we are responsible for delivering the Modular Homes to your property. Our team will provide and operate the necessary equipment to unload and place the homes safely. However, it is your responsibility as the purchaser to ensure that the delivery site is accessible and free from power lines, trees, landscaping, or other obstructions that could hinder the delivery process.

  3. Installation of Utilities and Equipment: Upon delivery, you are solely responsible for the Modular Homes. It is your responsibility to install any required utilities and equipment for your use, such as electricity, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ensure that you have made the necessary arrangements to have these utilities readily available upon installation.

Warranty and Maintenance

At Twin Ports Tiny Homes, we stand behind the quality of our modular homes. We offer a comprehensive warranty and provide guidance on maintenance to ensure your satisfaction and long-term enjoyment of your tiny home.

  1. One-Year Warranty: Our Modular Homes come with a one-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period starts from the date of delivery. Should any issues arise during this time, the manufacturer of the Modular Homes, Jerry Stutzman, dba J & R Sheds, will be responsible for repairs covered under the warranty. Please note that the wood siding is not covered under warranty.

  2. Exercising the Warranty: To exercise the warranty, you must contact us in writing with a detailed description of the alleged defect. Upon receiving your notice, we will promptly engage with the manufacturer to address the issue and initiate the necessary repairs.

  3. Maintenance Guidelines: To ensure the longevity and optimal condition of your tiny home, we recommend following proper maintenance guidelines. This includes regular inspections, cleaning, and routine upkeep of various components, such as the siding, roofing, plumbing, and electrical systems. Adhering to these guidelines will help preserve the integrity and performance of your home.
